Home
The Home page is the dashboard that opens as soon as you log in to Dealersip. You can return to it at any time by clicking Home, the first item at the top of the left sidebar.
Home is made of two columns. The left column holds the Onboarding checklist and the Website Activity panel. The right column holds three cards — Meet Bella!, Support Center and What is new?. Above both columns sits the Frequently used shortcut strip.
What you see on Home changes over time and from one dealership to another, because the onboarding tasks grow as Dealersip grows, the shortcuts follow your own usage, and Website Activity depends on whether a dealership website is connected.
The page header
Three controls sit around the top of the screen and are worth knowing before you go further.
- The dealership name at the top of the left sidebar. Click it to switch to a different dealership and work there.
- The question-mark icon next to the Home page title. It opens the help for this page — the topic you are reading now. Every screen in Dealersip carries the same icon.
- The notification bell at the top right of the green bar. It shows a red blinking dot whenever you have unread notifications.
Frequently used
The Frequently used strip runs across the top of Home, marked with the favorites icon. It gives you one-click access to the screens you open most, so you do not have to walk the menu every time — for example Transactions, Chart Of Accounts, Parties, Setup, Business Health, Sales, Transaction Types, Templates, Party Ledger, Purchase and Party Types.
These shortcuts are arranged automatically and added based on how often you use each screen. You cannot pin, reorder or remove an item yourself.
The list is yours alone, and it is also specific to the device you are working on — usage is counted on that device, so the shortcuts are not synced across your computers. The same list appears in the Frequent group of the left sidebar.
Onboarding
The Onboarding panel is a checklist of the setup and marketing work that gets your dealership running well, grouped into sections such as Accounting, Marketing and Website Optimization. Some tasks tick themselves once you complete the action; others are a checklist you tick by hand.
See Onboarding for the full explanation of the sections, the two kinds of task, and how to hide or bring back the list.
Website Activity
The Website Activity! panel shows, in real time, who is on your dealership website right now, which page they are viewing and how interested they appear to be. It shows Not Available until a dealership website is connected and a visitor is actually on it.
See Website Activity for what every field on a visitor row means.
Meet Bella!
The Meet Bella! card at the top of the right column gives you access to Bella, the Dealersip assistant. You have Bella Lite, a support assistant — ask her anything about using the software and she will guide you.
Click Ask Bella!, the button at the bottom right of the card, to open Bella’s own page. See Bella Virtual Assistant. To move beyond Bella Lite, contact your account manager; there is no upgrade option on this card.
Support Center
The Support Center card sits below Meet Bella. Use it whenever you hit a problem or want to request a new feature. Click the Support Center button on the card and Dealersip opens its built-in support ticket page, where you raise the ticket. Nothing leaves Dealersip and there is no separate login.
This is also where the Automatic Search Engine Optimization onboarding task sends you, because that feature has to be switched on for you.
See Support Center for your account manager and for Premium Support.
What is new?
The What is new? card, at the bottom of the right column, names the version currently running and the date it was released — for example Version 1.0.9728 was released on 20 Aug.
Click Release Notes, the button at the bottom of the card, and Dealersip opens a popup listing the release notes for every version released to date, with the newest version at the top. The same information is kept in Release Notes.
