Website Activity
The Website Activity! panel sits in the left column of the Dealersip Home page, below the Onboarding checklist. It shows who is on your dealership website right now, what they are looking at, and how strong their interest appears to be, so your team can follow up while the visitor is still deciding.
The panel is live. It updates instantly as a visitor moves from page to page — no refresh needed.
When it shows Not Available
Website Activity needs a dealership website connected to Dealersip. The panel shows Not Available when there is no connected website, and also when there is one but nobody is on it at that moment. An empty panel is normal outside busy hours.
Only the dealership website connected to Dealersip is tracked.
What a visitor row shows
Each visitor occupies one row, with a colored dot on the far left and their details spread over two columns.
- Green dot — the visitor is active on your website at this moment.
- Visitor #1865 — the visitor’s number. Visitors are numbered in sequence as they arrive. Dealersip does not name them.
- Stock# — the stock number of the vehicle being looked at. It fills in once the visitor opens a vehicle detail page, and stays blank while they are on other pages.
- Last seen — the time of the visitor’s most recent activity, in the timezone set on your dealership setup page.
- Buying Intent — the vehicle the visitor appears most interested in. It reads Unknown while Dealersip cannot yet tell; once it locks on to a vehicle, the vehicle name is shown here.
- Possibility — how likely the visitor is to buy, worked out from the buying intent score. It runs Low, Mild, Strong, Extreme, with a colored dot beside it.
- Sessions in 24 Hours — how many completed visits this visitor has made in the last 24 hours. The visit happening right now is not counted, so a first-time visitor who is still browsing shows 0.
- Viewing Page — the page the visitor is on. Click the link and Dealersip opens that exact page in a new browser tab, so you can see what they are seeing.
How many visitors are listed
The panel lists the 20 most recent visitors only. A visitor drops off the list after 30 minutes of inactivity, or sooner if enough newer visitors arrive to push them past the twentieth position.
Rows cannot be clicked. There is no visitor detail view, and a visitor cannot be turned into a lead from this panel.
The Show Tasks link
When the Onboarding checklist on Home has been closed, a Show Tasks link appears at the top right of this panel. Click it to bring the checklist back.
