How Dealersip notifies you?
Dealersip uses two types of notifications to make sure you never miss important activity: in-app notifications and native push notifications.
When Dealersip shows in-app notifications
In-app notifications are shown when you are already using Dealersip. If the app is open in your browser or PWA and you are actively working, Dealersip displays notifications inside the software, including the Notifications Panel and relevant screens. This keeps you informed without interrupting your work with system popups.
When Dealersip sends native push notifications
Native push notifications are sent when Dealersip needs to alert you while the app is not actively in front of you. If the Dealersip window is minimized, running in the background, or not open, Dealersip sends a native notification that appears in the mobile notification drawer and in the Windows system notifications panel. Dealersip also sends native push notifications when the backend detects important activity that should not be missed, even if you are not currently inside the app.
How push notifications work
Push notifications require browser permission. When Dealersip loads, it automatically prompts you to allow notifications. If you allow the permission, your device is registered and Dealersip can send native push notifications when needed. If you do not allow permission at that time, the Notifications Panel shows an “Enable Push Notification” button so you can enable it later. After permission is granted, the button changes to “Push Notifications On” and becomes disabled, confirming that push notifications are enabled.
If notifications are blocked later from your browser or device settings, Dealersip cannot re-enable them automatically. You must reset or allow notification permission for Dealersip in your browser settings. Once permission is restored, you can enable push notifications again from the Notifications Panel.
